Alice Leung is a Melbourne-based feltmaking artist who grew up in Hong Kong and moved to Australia in 2022. She has been exploring feltmaking since 2016, developing a practice that combines needle felting and wet felting to create textile artworks, wearable pieces and sculptural forms.
Working primarily with wool and other natural fibres, Alice enjoys experimenting with colour, texture and form, exploring the versatility of felt as an artistic medium. Her work reflects a curiosity about materials and a hands-on approach to making, with a particular interest in Australian wildlife and the natural world.
