With more people not wishing to use social media we have created a new membership option for all textile enthusiasts.  Join like-minded people to share all things textiles!

Our members include embroiderers, stitchers, spinners, weavers, knitters, quilters, lacemakers, dyers, felters and those who explore textile art and craft in all its forms. Our members range from complete beginners through to skilled craftspeople. The aim of the collective is to share knowledge and conversation and to enjoy each other’s company. We hold regular meet ups and exhibitions throughout the year.

Membership enables you to be listed on the member directory, chat on our forums, post your events, organise get togethers with other members and post your destash items. Members are also given priority to exhibit in exhibitions and events – All for just $36 a year – click on the membership tab in the menu.

Naarm Textile Collective is an artist led organisation aiming to incorporate and challenge the boundaries of textile arts practice.  Together, promoting and supporting artists using textiles in their artworks and encouraging the exploration of unique pathways to creation and individuality through their work. The collective believe that by communicating and sharing their passion for textiles, they will highlight the versatility of the medium and promote interest in art created using a combination of traditional and contemporary techniques.

The Naarm Textile Collective Facebook group is a place to share information about your arts practice, exhibitions and other events. Feel free to share your ideas, way of making art, challenges, equipment you have for sale or swap, local studios and other textile related stuff.
